Atchison Public Schools is accepting applications for Summer Maintenance Staff. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. 

Hours:  6:30am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday

Summer:  May 28 - August 9, 2024

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Work independently without supervision
• Some computer skills may be required

Responsibilities

• Routine repairs and painting at all district facilities for preparation of the 2022-2023 school year
• Routine maintenance and improvement projects on district grounds
• Mowing, trimming, and watering of district grounds
• Helping with the necessary moving/lifting (up to 75 lbs.) of district furniture and equipment in all district facilities in order for summer cleaning
• Position works both indoors and outdoors (in heat conditions)
• Pickup Truck Driving – Trailer Towing Experience helpful
